NEPAL WEBINAR: Great and small – enhancing education and promoting equity in Nepal

Welcome to the webinar which introduces two educational projects currently implemented in Nepal. The project “TECSES – Technical Support Cooperation to School Education Sector” is funded by the Finnish Government and European Union. It is coordinated by the University of Helsinki Centre for Continuing Education HY+. The project ”Economic empowerment of disadvantaged women in rural households” is coordinated by the Nepal Association of University Women (NAUW) and economically supported with funds collected by the Finnish Federation of Graduate Women (FFGW). Despite many differences, such as funding and target populations, both projects share similar goals and values – for example, enhancing education and promoting equity in the Nepalese society.
